GridWits Support
Last updated 1 September 2026
For help with the GridWits iOS app, email [email protected]. We aim to reply within two business days.
GridWits is an online puzzle game with limited ancillary social features, not a social-media service. Offline solo play is available at any age. Online accounts and online features require the player to be 18 or older.
Before you contact us
- Confirm that you are using the latest GridWits version from the App Store.
- Check your internet connection if sign-in, friends, chat, daily puzzles, or tournaments are unavailable.
- Close and reopen the app. If the problem continues, restart your device.
- Offline solo creates no account or public profile. If you enabled an anonymous online account, delete it in the app before uninstalling if you want its online data removed.
What to include
Tell us what you were doing, what you expected, what happened instead, and your GridWits app version and iOS version. A screenshot is useful if it does not contain information you do not want to share. You can use Profile → Report an issue in the app to start the email if online access is enabled; offline-solo players can email us directly.
Account and privacy requests
Delete an account from Profile → Delete Account. You can also use the email address above to request access to, correction of, or a copy of your data. Read the Privacy Policy for details about what is deleted and what is retained with your name removed.
Online age check
Before online access, supported Apple systems first offer Apple's Declared Age Range check using an 18-year threshold. GridWits does not store or send the shared range to its servers. A birth-month/year check appears only as an on-device fallback where the Apple check is unavailable and is not regionally required; those entries are also not stored or sent. The device keeps only an 18+ eligibility flag, which is cleared on sign-out or account deletion.
Community safety
You can block a player or report a player or message from inside GridWits. For an urgent safety concern, email us and put “Safety” in the subject line.
Legal
See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Tournament eligibility, scoring, ties, virtual Coins, fair play, and result disputes are covered by the Official Tournament Rules.
